Low to the ground

Low to the ground means extremely short person. Persons who are low to the ground are short, pixie-like, personages who have low self esteem for being small. Sometimes they have a chip on their shoulder. Sometimes they are referred to as runts, shortcake, dwarfboy & shrimp.
